Traditional Christmas Dinner at Putney Rotary Club

Last Monday, ninety Putney Club members, fellow Rotarians from other clubs, friends and family attended the Club's traditional Christmas Dinner. The Rotary Club of Putney welcomed two new members: Brice Beumo-Jaze and Cilla Steed. Brice is from Cameroon and works in Banking. Putney Rotary raises £1300 on Thames Cruise

On Monday 14 August, Alex van der Velde talked about his campaign for responsible investment in person funds, claiming that they currently failed the Rotary Four-Way Test. People say investment in pensions is not fair and not beneficial to all concerned. Putney Rotarians mourn daughter of Past President

Putney Rotarians will be very sorry to hear of the death from cancer of Debby Clark. She was the daughter of Past President David and Erica Teare, sister of Louise and brothes Richard and Peter - and wife of David Clark, with whom she shared five very happy years. She died at 8:10pm on Saturday evening, 19 August, in the Margate hospice. Our warm sympathy goes out to all the family.... [Read more]
